1st day;

         On arrival at Cochin Airport or Aluva Railway station and transfer you to Thattekkad, and full day birding and night stay at  homestay.

2nd day:

      Whole day birding in Thattekkad Sanctuary and surrounding areas for western Ghat Endemics and evening over night stay at home stay

3nd day;

       Whole day birding in Thattekkad Sanctuary and surrounding areas for western Ghat Endemics and evening over night stay at home stay

Changes to see

Great- eared nightjar,  Jerdons Nightjar, Sri Lanka frogmouth & Cylon Bay owl, Brown wood owl, Indian scops owl,Brown fish owl, Brown hawk owl Mottiled wood owl,. Specialities heare include Spot-bellied Eagle-Owl(difficult),Ceylon,Red Spurfowl, Grey jungle fowl Rufous Babbler,Brown-breasted,White-bellied,Blue-throated& Rusty-tailed ,Twicklls, Verditer Flycatchers,Grey-headed Bulbul and Wayanad Laughing Trush(difficult). Moreover Thattekkad ideal for seeing a good number of the endemics of Western Ghats.The more difficult birds are Wayanad laughing Trush and Grey-headed Bulbul.Proceed to Urulanthanny, at the other end of the reserve Bulbul and Laughing Trush. Other notable species like to be seen are Red Spurfowl Ceylon Frogmouth,Blue-bearded Bee-eater,Malabar Grey Hornbill, White-bellied and Heart-spoted Woodpeckers,Rufous Babbler, White-bellied Blue Flycatcher, White-bellied Treepie and Malabar Trogon, Flame throated bulbul, Orange minivet, Oriental dwarf-kingfisher, Blye-eared kingfisher, Malabar wood shrike,Mabar parakeet, Maabar barbet,Crimson backed sunbird, Lotans sunbird, Nilgiri flowerpecker, thick billed flowerpecker, Vernal hanging parrot, Asian fairy blue bird, Dark fronted babbler, Brown cheeked fulvetta,Crested goshawk, Banded bay cuckoo,Indian pitta, Black baza,  very rare Slender lories (mammal) etc( list is incomplete).

4rd day;

       Start early morning for Munnar and Eravikulam National Park to watch Nilgiri Pipit, Nilgiri Flycatcher,Nilgiri Wood Pigeon,Black and Orange Flycatchers, Palani Laughing Trush,White-bellied blue robin, Nilgiri Pipit,Painted Bushquail, Indian scimitear babbler, Blue caped rock thrush, Malabar whistiling thrush the grassy plateau is also one of the last habitate of the Nilgiri Tahr.......lunch at Munnar continue bird watching and  night stay at Munnar.

5th day;

Birding in Munnar  and evening drop at Cochin Airport or Aluva railway station.Tour ends.
